It's been awhile since I've chatted with my foodie friends. I finally got to gmail chat with fufu yesterday and he told me I'm "the one person in the world who hasn't heard of " no-knead bread. Man this recipe sounds amazing and so simple! I'm going to bake a loaf on Saturday and make some lentil stew.
Here's a video on the recipe, and here's the actual recipe. From Google, I can see that people's bread results are fantastic. The bread looks so rustic, artisanal, and expensive!
Fuson also reminded me that I've been slacking on listening to Good Food's podcast. I figured I didn't have any time where I was working when I could listen to it. I realized today, that when I prepare to teach stats section, I can listen to the podcasts while coming up with sample problems. Maybe all my problems will begin to be about food... (my current sample problems are about seed sprouting... which I am doing at home now in preparation for my veggie garden).
Anyway, I miss all you foodie friend people. Keep me updated on recipes I HAVE to know about. I need to keep my food life lively. :)
