Shopping for research supplies

Clara and daniel took me to the party store in northgate to get styrofoam heads and another wig for my study. Dang wigs are fun.

Adam and lauren came to visit us last weekend. We made them hike up the crazy steep hill on the way back from going down to lake washington.

Check out this crazy bug i found! At first i thought it was some kind of dragonfly, but now im not so sure. Anyone know what it is? It is about 2 in long.

I just spent 10 minutes trying to decide between a Hannah Montana or a Gabriella (from High School Musical) wig for a study I'm going to run soon.

Well, you know Miley Cyrus is in the middle of being dethroned by Selena Gomez. So even tho' I <3 "See you again," I had to go with Vanessa Hudgens (although, just like Miley, this Disney star has trouble keeping her clothes on). After all, who could resist the "black lycra headwrap that says "I (heart) Troy" in red"?



(In my defense) They were the only primeable wigs I found on Amazon.

This is evan trying out my dad's wii (the boxing game). My dad ended up getting the wii fit. On the fit, i only thought the hula hooping and head butting game were any post of exercise. I did enjoy playing tennis tho!

Lake views

Saturday was my cousin michael's birthday party. He had it at my aunt and uncle's house on lake washington. This is the view of their backyard from their house. We spent some of the party down by the cabana (in the photo) and the water. We even took turns on their old paddle boat. I kinda want to convince my aunt to let me have my birthday there. :-)

Paper anniversary

The hubby and i celebrated our first year of marriage on Monday by going out to King fish cafe (a soul food restaurant in capital hill). Here's evan with a celebratory mint julep. We spent the dinner talking about all the great food we shared this past year together.
